As part of a company growth strategy, NewC has hired Peter Smith as their UK Commercial Manager. With a long background in the football business including commercial spells at Arsenal F.C. and Fortress GB, Smith is to expand the knowledge of international full-service provider NewC among sports executives in the UK.
During the past year, NewC has signed two digital partnership agreements in the UK – with Cardiff City FC and Wycombe Wanderers FC. In the future, the company is looking to increase the number of UK partners significantly.

From my perspective there are several clubs who need to future-proof their club digitally in the coming years to attract younger target groups and to avoid losing their competitiveness”, Peter Smith says.
